Saskia Wolsak is a researcher, writer and photographer residing in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her primary interest is ethnobotany, the relationship between plants and people.

 

She holds an MSc in Ethnobotany from the University of British Columbia, with a focus on the ethnobotany of Bermuda; and is currently pursuing a PhD in the ethnobotany of string. 

 

Saskia consults on other interpretive plant sign projects with an ethnobotanical focus; she is currently sign content writer and designer for UBC's Musqueam Medicinal Garden, a project for the University's centennial celebration. She also offers ethnobotanical lectures, walks, and workshops in the Vancouver area.
